What Pikselmark does, in plain words.

Pikselmark is an Android PrintService that turns print jobs into PNG, JPEG, or SVG files on your device. We never upload them, and we never see them.

No account. No ads. No analytics. No telemetry. The pages you print never leave the device. The single network call Pikselmark ever makes is a Google Play Billing handshake when you buy the optional one-dollar unlock.

Claims, not policies

What Pikselmark never does.

Plain English, one line per claim. If a future version breaks one of these, the Play listing will be wrong — and we will fix it before we ship.

  • We never upload the pages you print.
  • We never transmit the filenames or paths of the files you save.
  • We never create an account for you. There is nothing to sign in to.
  • We never show you ads — anywhere, in any form.
  • We never run analytics. No event counters, no funnels, no sessions.
  • We never bundle third-party SDKs that report your activity.
  • We never fingerprint your device — for ads, for attribution, for any purpose.

The one exception

The only network call Pikselmark ever makes.

When — and only when — you buy the optional one-dollar unlock, the app talks to Google Play to verify the purchase. Nothing else leaves the device.

Transmitted

  • The Google Play purchase token.
  • The unlock SKU and item id.
  • The Google account signed in on the device.

Never transmitted

  • The pages you print.
  • The filenames or paths of your saved files.
  • Device identifiers used for advertising or attribution.
  • Any document content — current, previous, or future.

Without an internet connection, free exports still work. Only the optional one-dollar unlock needs the Play Billing handshake. After the first verification, the entitlement is cached locally, so a temporary Play outage never blocks a paid user.

On-device only

Permissions and on-device diagnostics.

Two runtime permissions, nothing more. Diagnostics stay on the device unless you export them yourself.

Runtime permissions

  • Android PrintService binder. The OS grants a print job to Pikselmark so it can render the pages on your behalf. No background access, no outside request.
  • Storage access via the Storage Access Framework. You pick the destination folder once. Pikselmark only writes inside that scope — and only to the folder you picked.

Diagnostics

Pikselmark keeps an on-device log of completed and cancelled jobs so you can tell what happened. Diagnostics never include filenames, paths, or document content — they stay on the phone unless you export them by hand.
